Extremely Low Frequency Electric and Magnetic Fields Exposure: Survey of Recent Findings

Extremely Low Frequency Electric (ELF-EF) and Magnetic Field (ELF-MF) exposure is caused by different types of sources, from those related to the production, transmission, distribution electric currents, technologies common use, such as domestic appliances or transportation. Establishing levels for general public a fundamental step in health risk management process but could be challenging due differences approaches used studies. The goal this study present an overview last years research efforts (from 2015 nowadays) about ELF-EF MF everyday environments, considering sources assess exposure. All ELF-EMF were found below ICNIRP guidelines higher measured apartments very close built-in power transformers. Household electrical devices showed high their proximity, duration extremely limited.
